Wrap your arms around 'em and lemme hear a SQUEE! Number seven on Contraltissimo's DeviantArt How To Train Your Dragon DVD Countdown List of Yayness.... Make way for the

Plushies!

They reign over bedrooms and closets. They're great for hugs, naps, and protection from monsters in the dark. You grew up with them. You love them and squeeze them and cherish them and now.... you create them.

To all the brilliant seamstresses and haberdashers out there, this one's for you! Whether going by hand or on a state-of-the-art serger, through all the snarled thread, bent needles, endless prick-wounds and bloody fingers, even reaching the very last eighth-yard of the perfect fabric you'll never see on sale again....! ....you still manage to bring to life the most lovable, adorable, squee-inducing cuddle-magnets we've ever seen.

May your Fraycheck never run dry, and your knots never loose. Here's to stitching together many a future fuzzy friend.

And the DVD comes out in

7...

Start the countdown over!

Keep on counting!

I've made one Night Fury so far, but I'm working on another and I'm planning to make three more after this one. Should I be proud or ashamed?

That's a question only you can answer, friend. ;)

But let me ask you this---do you enjoy doing it? :D

Definitely. My grandmother (who doesn't like sewing) loved the completed work I showed her, and it makes an awesome armrest while I'm using the computer. The main reason I'm making so many is because I have a ton of fluffy cloth in different colors...
