Hiccup kicks back amid a patch of mayweed flowers and doodles in his book. .... .... Dang it, his head's too big....

I started drawing this in the back of a minivan on a desert road somewhere in.... Utah I think. :shrug:

Named after the spot in the video game. Oh my gosh I think I've been playing it too much. After I thrashed Astrid in the Hofferson Tournament last night using only my zippleback, I had a dream that I was Hiccup, and I killed Fishlegs! T_T

I didn't recognize him! :cries:

....

Right, yeah, so anyway this is a fan art, from a video game, which did not follow the movie it was made from, which movie did not follow the book it was based on.

This one is a bit far-flung, my dears.

The Wild Zone is my favorite place to visit in the game mostly because of the music. I was listening to it most of the time I made this. Here's the loop. Kinda dreamy and trancy, isn't it? Even with the dragon cries in the distance. Maybe because of the dragon cries in the distance....

The mini-games in the Wild Zone are fun, too.


Also.... sheep-tackling is my new favorite thing. :XD:

OH, I just saw this picture and had to favorite it! :D

You started drawing this while riding in a minivan in the desert..... wow. I love how you incorporate so many small hatching marks to add tone and depth to drawing. Everything has a 3-dimensional feel.

The rocks! The fury vest! The peaceful tone to the whole drawing! :heart::love::heart:

Yeah I was actually quite irate at the time and just had to.... DO something, you know? ^^; It was a long car ride.... plenty of time to just texture everything up with the pencils.... :D
